Welcome to Healthfully Rooted Home where I help busy homemakers put healthy and wholesome meals on the table. I offer inspiration on healthy living and getting back to our roots through old-fashioned living.

About me

I welcome you to little corners of my home (mostly the kitchen). I’m kyrie (pronounced: keeree). I’m a child of God, wife and mother.
I pray that this space is a blessing for you as I share my inspiration with this community of women who nurture their families in healthy and wholesome ways. Using old fashioned skills & modern-day methods, I’ll pour into you so you can do the same for your family.
Why We Are Living Healthfully
Jaxon was a really bad reflux baby and as his mamma, I felt so defeated. I researched for months, got bloodwork, and discovered that he and I had several major food intolerances. This sent me on an obsessive hunt figuring out what exactly was in the food we were eating (and what the food we were eating was eating).
As a health nut, I thought I knew what I was feeding my family. I soon found out that I did not! It was then that I ventured into the world of preparing and sourcing our food more healthfully. I learned old-fashioned skills like fermenting, soaking, and milling our own grain. These skills are what helped to heal our guts.
