- 3/4 cup pecans 
 - 1/2 cup cashews
 - 1 cup  cheese crisps
 - 1/4 cup peptias 
 - 1 1/2 tbs dried herbs
 - 4 tbs nutritional yeast
 - 2 tbs olive oil
 - 1/4 tsp sea salt
 
 
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. 
Place nuts, pepitas and cheese crisps in a large bowl.  
Sprinkle the herbs, nutritional yeast, and sea salt over top and mix until combined.
Add the olive oil and stir until combined. 
Place the trail mix onto a parchment lined baking sheet. 
Place in the oven for about 5 minutes. 
Remove from the oven, let cool completely, then place in a glass, airtight container.  
 
Savory trail mix tips
 
- Mix the dry ingredients together before adding olive oil to prevent clumping.
 
- Alter this recipe however you like. Eg. if you prefer almonds over pecans, change it up! Just be sure to use the same amounts of each ingredient.
 
- Don't skip baking the mixture. 5 minutes doesn't seem long but it helps to set up the trail mix so the herbs stick to the nuts.
 
- Wait for the trail mix to completely cool before placing in a storage container.
