Notes
in a pinch instructions
This recipe is naturally an in a pinch style recipe since we use packaged roast beef. However, you could also shave some time using the following tips.
Purchase the presliced crostini slices.
Skip rubbing the garlic (not recommended since this adds so much flavor).
Make sauces ahead of time or buy storebought aioli and balsamic glaze.
how to store beef crostini
Surprisingly, these beef crostini store very well in the fridge and are delicious heated up! Of course, they're much better fresh so I recommend making these right before serving.Simply store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, either pop in the microwave, or 300-degree oven and heat until warmed through.
roast beef crostini Tips
Quality roast beef - like Boar's Head, or the fresh sliced roast beef from the deli.
Garlic rub - Rubbing the garlic on the toasted crostini makes all the difference.
Pre-prep sauces - Make the sauces ahead of time so when you have to prepare the appetizer it's even easier. This also gives the sauces time to marinate and develop their flavors.
