Savory trail mix tips
- Mix the dry ingredients together before adding olive oil to prevent clumping.
- Alter this recipe however you like. Eg. if you prefer almonds over pecans, change it up! Just be sure to use the same amounts of each ingredient.
- Don't skip baking the mixture. 5 minutes doesn't seem long but it helps to set up the trail mix so the herbs stick to the nuts.
- Wait for the trail mix to completely cool before placing in a storage container.
how to store savory trail mix
Savory trail mix is easy to store for later! Just place in an airtight glass container and store for up to 3 months (it probably won't last that long).
